Teaching
Teaching is one of the most rewarding parts of my musical career. I offer years of teaching experience with individual and group lessons, coaching sectionals, and leading masterclasses. Additionally, I’ve taught a variety of students from beginner to adult. I currently maintain studios in my home as well as through Pearland Independent School District. During this time I am able to offer both in-person lessons throughout the Greater Houston Area as well as virtual lessons via Zoom!
My teaching philosophy is based on encouraging musical curiosity and exploration while also motivating each of my students to set and achieve their own personal goals. Each of my students get individualized attention to help them address specific areas of their playing.
If you are interested in signing up for private lessons or are a music educator and looking for a flute teacher for masterclasses, contest adjudication, or sectional coaching please get in touch with me via the contact form below.

I feel like I've really improved since I've started lessons with Mr. Martin. He likes to focus a lot on detail which has really helped me be more picky with myself, and in the long run has made me better.
